Delete Your Account
You can delete your Majlis account inside the app, or ask us to delete it from here without reinstalling the app.

Option 1: in the app (immediate)
Open your Profile — reachable from Home, Friends or Settings. In the Account section, tap Delete account. You'll be asked to confirm twice: first a summary of what is removed, then a final, irreversible confirmation. Deleting your account needs an internet connection, and for your security you may occasionally be asked to sign in again first.
Option 2: request deletion by email (no app needed)
Send an email with the subject "Delete my Majlis account" to:
Include: (1) your username (your @handle, shown on your Profile), and (2) your display name. Send it from the email address you signed in to Majlis with, or the one on the Google account you linked — that is how we confirm the account is yours. We may reply to ask for one more detail before deleting.
We delete the account and confirm by email within 30 days of receiving a verified request.
Guest accounts (never linked to an email or Google) exist only on the phone that created them and have no email we can check. If you still have the app, use Option 1. If you have uninstalled it, the guest account can no longer be signed in to; email us with your display name and roughly when you last played and we will do our best to find and delete it.
What gets deleted
Your sign-in account, display name, username, profile photo, points and levels, leaderboard entries, friends, friend requests and blocks, notification tokens, reports made by or about you, chat mutes, your table chat messages (at every table, including ones you already left), and your seat at every table you're still in. Every invite you created stops working. The app also erases the data it keeps on your phone.
What is kept, and for how long
Finished match results stay on record so other players' history isn't affected, but without your account or name. Your @username stays reserved for 180 days so nobody else can take it and pretend to be you to your former friends; it is not linked to any account. Our database provider may keep deleted records in its recovery history for up to 30 days. Optional analytics and crash reports are never linked to your account and expire on their own. Deletion cannot be undone.
